Her son celebrated her on Mother’s Day again in 2016 with the message, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom, and to other the other moms out there.”

Nguyen, of Vietnamese origin, has not often appeared in public with her famous son. In 2014, she participated in the humorous segment on “Words From Your Mother” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Although the former couple share a son, they went their separate ways, and Nguyen’s son entered his highly publicized relationship with Kylie Jenner. And according to Tyga’s grandmother, it was for the best. She said:

“We all love Kylie and think she is so much better for Tyga than Blac…Blac just wasn’t a very nice person, and Kylie comes from a much better family. She is such a sweet, lovely girl and seems to adore Tyga. So we didn’t mind him splitting up from Blac. It was a relief for us all.”

During her relationship with Tyga, Jenner was spotted with Nguyen and her mother at a party. As she and her mother sat on either side of the rapper, Jenner sat in his lap as they all posed for the camera.

Despite their breakup, Tyga and Blac Chyna continued to co-parent their son King Cairo, prioritizing his well-being. Blac Chyna has since spoken about how time and maturity have helped improve her co-parenting relationships.

“I feel like with everything — time heals everything, and people change, and situations change, and you get to see the situation for what it is […],” she shared.

“And also too, let’s not leave out King and also co-parenting with Michael (Tyga) too, with King, so I feel like, as long as my kids are good and happy on both sides, that’s all I care about as a parent,” Blac Chyna added.

Tyga has also expressed immense pride in being a father, describing it as one of his greatest accomplishments. “You don’t owe the world anything, but when you bring a beautiful child like this into the world, you know that you’ve got a lot to live for,” he said.

The rapper welcomed his son in October 2012, and despite his fast-paced lifestyle, fatherhood profoundly changed his perspective. “He makes me step back and really enjoy life,” the rapper explained.
