The actress, known for her iconic role in “Halloween,” arrived at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall wearing a bold black gown. The ensemble featured a sequined bottom paired with a dramatic feathered top that extended into voluminous sleeves.

Keeping her accessories at a minimum, Curtis opted for silver and black stud earrings. Her makeup complemented the look with glowing skin, long lashes, and a soft nude lip. The sleek styling allowed her statement outfit to take center stage.

Her daring fashion choice sparked mixed reactions online. Some critics compared the look to a bird-like appearance. One person commented, “Looks like some strange bird.” Another added, “Wow… she has a big black bird on her neck!!” A third joked, “Was this actually a Halloween party?” while someone else remarked, “She looks like a raven.”

Despite the criticism, Curtis’ fans flooded social media with praise. “Look at that figure! She is so gorgeous,” one person gushed. Another added, “She knows about elegance and class and she has a great fitness body.” A third wrote, “She looks gorgeous, always has had a great figure.”

Curtis embraced the moment with her signature humor and grace, sharing a selfie on social media in her feathered ensemble. She captioned it, “I love my @lastshowgirl family! Birds of a feather…….”
Though Curtis didn’t take home the award—Saldaña claimed the honor—she remained one of the most talked-about stars of the evening.
Beyond the red carpet, Curtis brought her wit to the stage while presenting the award for Best Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. Handing the honor to Colin Farrell for his performance in “The Penguin,” she introduced him with a playful jab, “The man who gave me COVID at the Golden Globes, Colin Farrell.”
The audience erupted in laughter as Farrell took the joke in stride. “Guilty as charged,” he quipped while hugging Curtis. The actor then added that he had caught it from his “Banshees of Inisherin” co-star Brendan Gleeson, joking, “So I was just spreading the love.”

After a night filled with glamour and laughter, Curtis wrapped up the evening with another social media post. She shared an image of black feathers and fake eyelashes, captioning it, “Good night, friends. Feathers and fake eyelashes! @sagawards.”
Even without a trophy in hand, Curtis’ presence at the SAG Awards was nothing short of unforgettable. However, this isn’t the first time Curtis has trapped attention for her appearance.
In 2024, the iconic powerhouse traded her signature pixie cut for a lengthier hairstyle on July 1. Curtis donned a shoulder-length bob and kept the color the same gray she is well-known for while on the set of the sequel of a fan-favorite 2000s movie she co-stars in with a famous red-headed actress.

Stepping out of her trailer on the set of the highly anticipated film “Freaky Friday 2,” the actress looked almost unrecognizable with her long gray locks. Photos snapped by paparazzi showed she also donned an all-black look, which included a cozy-looking cardigan and high-waisted pants.

Set to premiere in 2025, the public is excited to see the actress reprise her role as Tess Coleman and legendary entertainer Lindsay Lohan reprise her part as Curtis’ daughter, Anna Coleman.

Speaking to a media outlet in 2023, Curtis highlighted how overdue a sequel to the classic was. “As I went around the world with ‘Halloween Ends,’ people wanted to know if there was going to be another ‘Freaky Friday’ […] When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, ‘It feels like there’s a movie to be made,'” she disclosed.
Photos showing Curtis with her long bob while filming the movie were not the first images to surface online from the film set. Disney Studios also shared a photo on Instagram, showing the dynamic on-screen mother-daughter duo holding hands in front of their trailers.
Playing to the film’s original plot in which they swap bodies, Curtis sat on the steps of Lohan’s trailer while Lohan sat in front of hers. “The Colemans are back and coming to theatres in 2025! The sequel to Freaky Friday is now in production!” captioned the account.
