The new series will be referred to as “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” It will air on A&E, with the network sharing that they have ordered two seasons of 20 one-hour episodes from Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios and Tread Lively Productions.

The official page of the reality show confirmed the news on Facebook, “Quack, Quack! 🦆Duck Dynasty is BACK with #DuckDynasty: The Revival! Join Willie Robertson, Korie Robertson, and their growing family as they plan the future of Duck Commander and pass down their legacy. Don’t miss the fun—SUMMER 2025 on A&E! 🎉.”

Willie and Korie Robertson will bring their trademark humor and warmth to the screens as they watch their children tackle marriage, parenthood, and running businesses, all while continuing to pass down the family legacy. The couple’s kids are John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca. It will also feature other favorite family members from the original hit show such as Miss Kay and Uncle Si.

“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures,” Willie and Korie noted.

Devoted viewers of the original reality series are thrilled by the news of the revival. One viewer cheered“We’ve been waiting years in hopes to hear this news! The best show that’s ever been on TV!” Another fan shared their enthusiasm, “Is this really happening? Loved watching this show when it aired and I still stream all the episodes from time to time. Cheers for the revival.”

For some, the show held a special place in their hearts as one person gushed“So excited! This family is a true inspiration. Can’t wait to tune in.” Loyal fans couldn’t wait for what’s to come. “Anxious for a new season. Really love your show,” one supporter said.

However, not everyone was entirely on board with the idea as one viewer remarked“The only thing is if Si isn’t in it, I’m not interested.” More fans also shared their wish about other family members, “Gosh, really miss this show, but I don’t see it being the same without Uncle Si, Phil, Jace, and Godwin. Hope I’m wrong, but they were the life of the show.”

Korie has already revealed that Uncle Si will be on the show, adding, “So much has changed, we’ve got a lot to catch people on.” One fan, who feels that the show needs no revival, bluntly advised“No, don’t embarrass yourself. You had a good run, but you’re over.”

A&E’s Executive Vice President and Head of Programming, Elaine Frontain Bryant, has acknowledged the “Duck Dynasty”s significant contribution to the network’s success over the years. She is also excited about the upcoming reunion with the Robertsons for the revival.

Elaine gushed, “The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of downhome practicality, southern charm, and relatable humor.”

Wheelhouse CEO and Executive Producer Brent Montgomery is looking forward to working with the Robertsons on the revival. He worked on the original “Duck Dynasty,” describing it as the best reality sitcom of all time.

He emphasized that the Robertsons’ core values of “faith, family, and fun” will drive the content of the revived series directly to the hearts of viewers.

“Duck Dynasty” aired for 11 successful seasons on A&E, with its viewership reaching 11.8 million at its peak. The show ended in 2017 as the Robertsons chose to pursue other ventures. The original cast was made of Phil, his brother Si, and his sons Jase, Willie, and Jep.

In early December 2024, Jase revealed that Phil Robertson had been facing significant health challenges, including a blood disease that severely impacted his overall well-being.

In addition, the 78-year-old is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, which further complicates his condition. These illnesses have left him struggling with intense pain, difficulty walking, and memory impairment.

Jase also said Phil’s appetite was diminishing as his conditions worsened. However, by late December 2024, a change in his diet brought a positive shift.

He regained his appetite, started eating well, and began feeling stronger, marking a hopeful improvement in his overall well-being. Jase thanked the Robertson’s fans, saying their prayers and goodwill helped improve his dad’s wellbeing.
