Similar comments ensued, with yet another observer opining“Looks like her face hurt like it’s stiff don’t move… but hey I love the family and she’s doing her best considering she’s not 25 [sic]…” “Why did she mess her face up with plastic surgery??? She was beautiful the way she was,” added a Facebooker.

Other people diverted their attention to Knowles’ ensemble. “Her outfit giving me Santa Clause [sic] vibes,” asserted a social media user, while another stated“Her stylist needs to be fired 🤦🏽‍♀️.”

Aside from sparking online chatter with her physical appearance, Knowles sat down for an interview with fellow industry heavy hitter Jennifer Hudson. During the segment, the two ladies spoke about Knowles’ daughter’s haircare line, Cécred, of which Knowles serves as Vice Chair.

“I’m so excited about it because you know, I owned a hair salon. I will always be a hairstylist, always love making people feel beautiful,” shared Knowles on the topic. Hudson then highlighted how successful Cécred has already shaped up to be, as it has won several awards in its first year.

When the talk show host asked Knowles what she is most proud of in relation to the haircare line’s success, the hair guru divulged, “I think I’m most proud of how the public has supported it. You know, we just didn’t have this huge marketing budget and the people that use the products promoted it so much for us.”

She also noted how the brand has test salons where people can go to get their hair done, and mentioned how she had extended an invite to Hudson to do so.

“They make videos and they show the progress of their hair, and I mean I get choked up about it cause they don’t have to do that, but they have promoted it for us. From the tools to the packaging to everything, they just embraced it and they’ve just promoted it for us,” disclosed Knowles.

The businesswoman, who even assists customers with their hair sometimes, relies on her many years of expertise as a former hairdresser, as she has worked with different types and textures. She also emphasized, “This product is for every texture of hair. It is. It goes across the board.”

At a different point during the interview, Knowles and Hudson spoke about the Cécred Vice Chair’s role as a mother and grandmother.

After boasting and cheering about the “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” singer’s victorious night at this year’s Grammys, Knowles recalled an anecdote about the moment she was at her daughter’s house when the musician and her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, were getting ready for the big night.

Knowles recalled how shocked she was to learn her daughter had won that night, highlighting how she had been sitting with her other granddaughter and grandson when she saw the “Halo” artist’s viral reaction to her winning Best Country Album.

After discussing the iconic moment, Knowles noted how Blue Ivy, who she dubbed “a jack of all trades,” was giving her parents instructions on how they should act. “She’s a bossy, little Capricorn like her grandma,” revealed the businesswoman. Knowles and Hudson then spoke about how proud the famous mom is of her other legendary daughter.

“I’m proud of Solange, always. And Solange is such an artist you know. She’s really an artist and I’m proud of Kelly, too. I have to bring it up because that’s my other baby,” noted Knowles.

Knowles’ widely discussed appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” follows fellow A-lister George Lopez’s appearance on the show. Like Knowles, Lopez sparked a flurry of reactions from netizens who were taken aback by how he looked, with some citing their inability to even recognize him.

Aside from the video of the actor making his grand entrance, the show also shared some footage from his sit-down interview with Hudson. In this snippet, the “Dreamgirls” star brought up Valentine’s Day.

Humorously interjecting the talk show host’s statement, Lopez joked, “You know what, I’m gonna take some Ambien and wake up Sunday,” which garnered laughs from the audience and a surprised Hudson.

“I’ve never been lucky in love. I mean really terrible in love situations,” revealed Lopez, which prompted Hudson to ask if that was the reason he has an affinity for the popular reality show, “Love Is Blind.”

The “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” star then went on about how much he adores the show, noting how it took him two months to get through all the episodes that are currently available.

After Hudson asked Lopez what he loves most about the show, Lopez shared, “First of all, the idea that love is blind, you’re talking to somebody through a wall, and then you pick to marry them, but your family don’t [sic] know […] And there’s always a dad that doesn’t agree. Then you have to make sure the wheels don’t fall off before you get married.”

He proceeded to outline the entire premise of the show, getting up at one point to mimic previous brides who had walked away from the altar after getting rejected by the groom or after they said no to their partners.

Another topic discussed during the segment included Lopez being open to becoming the next Golden Bachelor, which garnered loud cheers and claps from the audience. Alongside the snippet of the interview, the show captioned, “@georgelopez is ready to be the @goldenbachabc!”

Upon seeing the media of the 63-year-old’s appearance, with his silver mane and rugged beard that gave him a dramatically different aesthetic, the public expressed strong reactions.

Someone else wondered“😮 What happened to him lol,” while a spectator observed“Yo that hair is crazy 🤣🤣🤣.”

Similar comments ensued, with yet another netizen noting“He looks so Bad!!! All that WILD Hair!! A nice shorter haircut with a touch of gray would look good!!” “Get a haircut George!” instructed a Facebooker.

George Lopez’s interview with Hudson came on the heels of a major career announcement—his upcoming retirement from stand-up comedy. The revelation follows Deadline’s report that the comedian’s final special, “George Lopez: Muy Católico (Very Catholic),” premiered on Prime Video on February 18.

Recorded at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles last September (2024), the one-hour special sees Lopez reflecting on aging, Latino family traditions, and the quirks of his culture.

Discussing his decision to step away from the stage, Lopez told talk show host Tamron Hall, “It is the last one. I’ve subjected the American people to enough of my crap. It seems like the right time.”

The veteran comic expressed that although stand-up has been a constant in his life, he feels this is the perfect moment to close that chapter. Though his stand-up career is coming to an end, Lopez is far from stepping away from entertainment altogether.

Fans can still catch him on the hit NBC sitcom “Lopez vs. Lopez,” where he stars alongside his real-life daughter, Mayan Lopez. The father-daughter duo brings their dynamic to the screen in a semi-autobiographical series that is currently in its third season.

With a legacy spanning decades, Lopez has solidified himself as a comedy icon. His past specials—including “The Wall” (2017), “It’s Not Me, It’s You” (2012), and “Tall, Dark and Chicano” (2009)—have earned widespread acclaim, with the latter even garnering a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album.

His 2020 Netflix special, “We’ll Do It for Half,” was his most recent release before his upcoming farewell performance.

Hall isn’t the only talk show host Lopez has discussed his last comedy special and retirement plans with. During his interview with Hudson, he expressed similar sentiments.

“This is the last special […] I did with Amazon and the freedom of talking about Jeff Bezos and his Latina girlfriend […] and I decided it’ll be the last one because I think it’s a really good one,” disclosed Lopez.

When asked by Hudson if he thinks he will retire, he divulged, “Yeah, I think in the next couple of years, yeah […] it’s been a wonderful 45 years.”

Beyond his latest transformation and upcoming retirement from stand-up, Lopez’s impact on entertainment is undeniable. The comedian, actor, and producer has built an illustrious career spanning television, film, and comedy, breaking barriers for Latino representation in Hollywood.

Known for his sharp wit and fearless approach to social commentary, Lopez has long used his platform to challenge stereotypes and uplift his community.

His self-titled ABC sitcom, “George Lopez,” remains one of his most beloved projects, chronicling the life of a Los Angeles manufacturing plant manager navigating the chaos of family and work. Running for six seasons, the show continues to entertain audiences through reruns and syndication, solidifying its place as a classic.

Lopez’s influence extends beyond the small screen, with an impressive catalog of film roles, voice-acting credits in animated hits like “Rio” and “Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” and a best-selling autobiography, “Why You Crying?”

His contributions to entertainment were cemented in 2006 when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a fitting tribute to a career that has spanned decades.

As he takes a step back from stand-up, Lopez’s legacy remains intact—whether through his work in television, his enduring comedy, or the generations of entertainers he has inspired. Retirement may mark the end of an era, but for a performer as iconic as Lopez, the spotlight will never be too far away.
