Authorities responded to a fire at ATG Truckload in Crestwood, Illinois, on March 5 at approximately 4:05 p.m. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, but inside, they discovered the body of Dane Koteski, the company’s CEO, on the second floor amid thick smoke.
The Crestwood Police Department launched a death investigation, bringing in the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force. State Fire Marshals also joined to examine potential arson.
